There will be a Special Board Meeting on Mon., June 17 at 6:15 p.m. at the K. T. Allen Building, 377 Dover Center Road for the Records Commission to meet to discuss the records retention policy. The regularly scheduled Board meeting will follow immediately after at 6:30 p.m.

Today, we celebrate Flag Day! Flag Day factoids: 1. Old Glory commemorates the adoption of the U.S. flag on June 14, 1777. 2. Since 1777, the design of the flag has been officially modified 26 times. 3. Robert G. Heft, at age 17, of Ohio designed the 50-star American flag.

Many of our music teachers perform all over the region, including Orchestra Director Mrs. Carrie Singler with the jazz sextet Prism. She was recently surprised when some of her BMS jazz students came to hear her play in Akron. #BeProudToBeBay
