We're looking for someone with (preferably) food service experience and basic computer skills, who can work with our (already in place) amazing team and keep our school’s engine running on healthy, delicious fuel. If you have a passion for food and love serving high school students, we should talk!
The Deets: Full time (7 hours daily) with benefits (health & retirement), and you're off breaks and summer. Competitive compensation paid year round. Reports to the district's Food Service Supervisor.

Westerly STEM Camp continues! The second-grade STEM campers are hard at work making Bug Hotels from found materials!
Sixteen BHS French students enjoyed a trip to France this summer--the program’s first trip abroad since 2001. Students visited the D-Day beaches, Mont-St-Michel, Giverny, Versailles and all of the Paris essentials!










A sweet year-end activity before summer break is to say goodbye to the guinea pigs for the summer before they head to their "summer homes" with students & teachers. These 5th graders will miss them!

The summer solstice happened today, June 21 at 4:24 a.m. Today is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year, which occurs when the sun crosses its highest and northernmost points in the sky. Today marks the most sunlight we will receive all year. Enjoy!

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans. Juneteenth facts: 1.) The holiday originated in Galveston, TX, & has been celebrated in other parts of the US since 1865. 2.) This day was first recognized as a federal holiday in 2021.

Before summer break, Normandy students, including these first-graders in Mrs. McArn's class, enjoyed a Kona Ice treat in the shade. (Thank you, PTA, for sponsoring this activity!)

Last month, BHS held its annual Scholarship & Academic Awards Night. Nearly $140,000 in college scholarships were given to seniors. All scholarships were from local community organizations and residents. Thank you, Bay Kiwanis, for making this event possible the last 65 years!
