Some St. Patrick's Day factoids for you this morning...
1. St. Patrick was born in Britain.
2. The first St. Pat's Parade was held in America.
3. The shamrock, a 3-leaf clover, was considered a sacred plant that symbolized the arrival of spring.

Congrats to BHS Juniors Charlotte Reising, Renee Duffy, Rachel Ploenzke & Annalise Corn for delivering powerful speeches at the Westlake-Bay Village Rotary Club Speech Contest. Charlotte was 2nd overall and will represent BHS at the District Competition at Kent State next month.

St. Patrick's Day came early for Mrs. Brax's kindergartners today thanks to Musicians Patrick Mulloy and Michael Crawley, who performed traditional Irish music, including the bagpipes. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with our students!

Do you have an incoming Kindergartner next school year? If so, consider sending them to Safety Town this summer. Please see the flyer for registration information.

West Point Cadet and 2021 BHS Alumnus Hayden Coffman visited Mrs. Hart's class yesterday. He spent part of his spring leave thanking the second-graders for their Veterans Day cards and care packages. He also answered their questions and read a story. Thank you, Cadet Coffman!
