Members of the BVCSD Admin Team got together over lunch today to decorate cookies for residents of the Knickerbocker Apartments. Supt. Scot Prebles dropped them off just in time for an afternoon snack. Happy Holidays!






Glenview is SNOW much fun! Our Glenview Center students enjoyed the recent snowfall, and when it warmed up, they headed outside for some hands-on learning about winter.

At tonight's Board of Education Meeting, Supt. Scot Prebles introduced the winners of the Supt. Choice Art Awards. These pieces of art will be showcased outside the Supt's office. Artist Megan Chakerian was recognized for her piece, "Westside Market."

The first Board of Education meeting for 2024 is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5 at the Board Office. An organizational meeting will take place at 8 a.m. (new Board Members sworn in and President and Vice President elected), with a regular board meeting immediately following.

Third-graders in Mrs. Thomas' class had a special visitor recently. Third-grade student Sydney Thomas earned enough good behavior "Thomas Tokens" to bring in her bearded dragon Nibby as pet of the day. Nibby did math, read books and practiced Fundations with the class.




BHS Art Teacher Amanda DiLisi is a featured artist in the 2023 Print Invitational at Fenwick Gallery at Baldwin Wallace, running through Dec. 1. She is also featured in the Emerging Artists Exhibition at Tri-C Gallery West, running through Dec. 7. Congratulations!
