Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, Festival of Spring and Festival of Love, starts at sunset tonight. Holi is one of the most popular and significant festivals in Hinduism. BVCSD wishes a Happy Holi to all who are celebrating!


In the Christian tradition, Palm Sunday is the first day of Holy Week and the Sunday before Easter. In ancient times, palms were used to welcome kings. Now, palms serve as sacramentals and some are burned to be used as the ashes for next year's Ash Wednesday.

It's National Crossing Guard Day, and Mrs. Dunstan's first-grade class celebrated Crossing Guard Charlie this morning with a special delivery through classmate Jacob.

BMS 5th grader Penelope Slepecky recently competed in the Precision Arts Challenge dance competition in Toledo. She placed first overall for her Junior Solo performance titled “Look”. She was also awarded a Precision Performer Award for her near perfect captivating performance.
