Last month, Mrs. Poretsky's first-graders completed a service project for the youngsters at UH Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s, including decorating a "hospital gown," completing an All About Me page and sharing happy greetings with the patients. #BeProudToBeBay





During third quarter, BMS Art Teacher Mrs. Fortunato had students do a "get to know you" activity for the art hallway. Each 5th grader made their own personal Lego figure as a self portrait using pencil, marker and colored pencil. Their individuality really shines through!

Last week, Mrs. Dunstan's first-grade class had a fantastic time on the NatureTracks truck with the Cleveland Metroparks. They studied animals that are native to Northeast Ohio. #BeProudToBeBay





Mrs. Sorber’s Kindergarten class got outside during last week's nice weather and visited the Planetarium at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. #BeProudToBeBay @LENSC


Bunnies and eggs originated as symbols of spring and rebirth. Over the centuries, these ancient symbols became associated with the holiday of Easter, the principal festival of the Christian church, which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Happy Easter!

Two BHS Seniors in Greg Hildebrandt’s Advanced Digital Media class, Mia Gulley & Kristina Laraway, worked on a real client project, creating artwork for nonprofit organization the New Bay Village Dog Kennel Fund. What a great experiential learning opportunity!
