Yom Kippur means the "Day of Atonement," and is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. It is the last of 10 days of repentance starting with Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year), and is typically marked with worship, reflection and abstention, including 25 hours of fasting.

Fall officially starts at 2:50 a.m. tomorrow morning. This is officially known as the Autumn Equinox. We tend to say Fall, but our British friends say Autumn. The season was originally called Harvest due to the Harvest Moon, when the full moon is closest to the autumn equinox.
