Members

Mrs. Debbie Callihan

Mrs. Debbie Callihan, President

Mrs. Callihan was elected to the Board in November, 2023. She serves on the Curriculum Learning Committee and the Audit/Finance Committee, including Buildings and Grounds. She is also the OSBA Student Achievement Liaison.

Mrs. Callihan is a retired teacher having taught for 33 years at Lakewood City Schools. She holds a degree in Mathematics  and Education from Kent State University. Her post-graduate work was done at Cleveland State University and Baldwin Wallace University. As a teacher in Lakewood, Mrs. Callihan worked as a Classroom Teacher Educator for Cleveland State University, training undergraduates in classroom instruction and management. She and her husband moved to Bay Village 42 years ago. She has two adult children, Chris and Erin. Her daughter is a graduate of Bay Village Schools, and now Erin and her husband, Rob, have three children in the district -- two at Bay High and one at Bay Middle. Mrs. Callihan is a past member and chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee, the Bay Middle School building committee, the Strategic Vision Advisory Committee and a member of PTA. Current term expires December 31, 2027 (election for board seat November, 2027).

Mr. James Goodman

Mr. James Goodman, Vice President

Mr. Goodman was elected to the Bay Village Board of Education in November, 2023. He serves on the Wellness and Policy committees. Mr. Goodman currently serves as a trustee for the Bay Village Education Foundation, has previously served on the Citizens for Bay Schools levy committee and acts as head coach for the Bay Village Rockets Blue 12U travel baseball team. Professionally,

Mr. Goodman works in the IT Contracts, Finance, and Vendor Management office at Case Western Reserve University.  He and his family have lived in Bay Village for seven years. He and his partner, Angie, have two boys; a student at Bay Middle School and a Kindergartner. Mr. Goodman holds a B.B.A. in Business Management and Labor Relations from Cleveland State University. Current term expires December 31, 2027 (election for board seat November, 2027).

Mr. Kevin Ballantine

Mr. Kevin Ballantine

Mr. Kevin Ballantine was elected to the Board in November, 2025, and he will serve on the Wellness Committee in 2026. This is Mr. Ballantine's first time serving on the Board, and he is excited for this opportunity to give back to the community.

He is a Chemist by trade, and works in research and development for Sherwin-Williams, where he has spent the last 19 years of his career. Mr. Ballantine has held roles of increasing responsibility, including coordinating raw material projects for Sherwin-Williams labs in Latin America, where he used his Spanish and Portuguese fluency. He earned his B.A. in ACS Chemistry from Hiram College. Mr. Ballantine and his wife, Tori, have resided in Bay Village for the last seven years with their two boys, who attend Westerly and Normandy schools. Current term expires December 31, 2029 (election for board seat November, 2029).

Mrs. Amy Huntley

Mrs. Amy Huntley

Re-elected to the Board of Education in November, 2025, Mrs. Huntley has held numerous roles on the Bay Village Board of Education throughout her service from 2002-2019, and again from 2021 through present. Recently, she served on the Buildings & Grounds and Human Capital committees.

She has lived in Bay Village for 50 years and is a graduate of Bay High School. Mrs. Huntley has also served as PTA President for Normandy and Westerly, Treasurer of five PTA units and treasurer of Bay Music Boosters. Her husband, Tom, is a retired Bay Village Schools teacher, all six of her children attended Bay Village Schools K-12, and the third generation entered the district this fall when her grandson started kindergarten. In addition to pursuing her passion for continuing the excellence of Bay Village Schools, she is a CPA and owner of Huntley & Co., LLC. Mrs. Huntley holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University. Current term expires December 31, 2029 (election for board seat November, 2029).

Dr. Andrey Stojic

Dr. Andrey Stojic

Dr. Stojic was elected to the Bay Village School Board for his second term in November, 2025, and has served on the Curriculum, Wellness and Human Capital committees. He served as President of the Board in 2024.

He is a neurologist and epileptologist, and serves as the Center Director of General and Regional Neurology in the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute. He received his B.A. in Biology at Wittenberg University and degree in Medicine and Ph.D. in Neurosciences at the University Of Toledo Medical Center.  Dr. Stojic completed his medical internship at MetroHealth Medical Center, followed by residency training in neurology and epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic.  He and has his wife, Kim, have three children -- 2017 and 2023 Bay High School graduates, and a student at Bay High School. Current term expires December 31, 2029 (election for board seat November, 2029).
