Today is National School Librarian Day. BVCSD is grateful for all its school librarians today and every day!

Reminder: On a road with fewer than four lanes, all traffic approaching a stopped school bus from either direction must stop at least 10 feet from the front or rear of the bus and remain stopped until the bus begins to move or the driver signals motorists to proceed.

Thank you, Normandy, for "Purpling Up" and supporting our military-connected students!

Thank you, Normandy, for Purpling Up in support of our military-connected students! (Love that purple backdrop!)

Thank you, Harrod Family, for your support of Month of the Military Child!

Come support more than 100 Bay High School students in the spring musical Bye Bye Birdie!

BVCSD Families: There is a structure fire in Bay Village on Donald Ave. behind the Malley's area. The smoke is thick in that area, and some traffic may be rerouted. Please exercise caution if dropping students at BMS and Normandy. Thank you!

Don't forget to wear Purple tomorrow!

Normandy revealed its One School One Book title this afternoon in a very "playful" manner...Toys! Amazing Stories Behind Some Great Inventions by Don Wulffson and illustrated by Laurie Keller! (Experience the reveal via Mrs. Dunstan's class!)

April is Month of the Military Child. Show your support for BVCSD's military-connected children by wearing Purple each Friday in April! Thank you!

Excitement is "building" for Wednesday's big reveal of this year's One School One Book (OSOB) at Normandy Elementary!

Honoring all who served on this National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

BVCSD is proud of Team Takes A Village for raising $123,000 in 7 weeks for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society! And thank you to everyone who donated and assisted this hard-working group of students!

Now through April 3, help Key Club fundraise for its Walk for Water initiative to build water wells in Africa. Great Mother's Day idea! See flyer for QRC code for ordering.

March is Women's History Month, and Supt. Shryock invited some of Bay High School's female leaders to stop by the most recent Board meeting to share how they're making a difference in academics, the arts, athletics and service. Great job, ladies!

Support Bay High School’s theater program and the 100+ talented cast and crew members, by attending Bye Bye Birdie, directed by Luke Scattergood. Alumni are encouraged to attend in honor of Bay High School’s 100-year anniversary. https://bayathletics.org/event-tickets

Scientists in Action...Glenview Preschoolers recently took a walking field trip to observe the creek next to Glenview, and to visit the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. How are you celebrating spring?

Mrs. Bolton's second-graders are published authors! The students wrote a book about the "B.A.Y way" and Normandy's Be respectful, Act Safely, and You and I can accept challenges mantra. Each student wrote a page and an illustration for the book. We are proud of you, Norman Bees!

As you plan your meals for the week, please consider ordering/eating out this Wednesday, March 23 at Five Guys (Westlake location) from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. to support our Bay High Class of 2022! See flyer for details...

The Great Closet Clean-out is back! March 25-27 at Bay Middle School. Donations benefit Bay Athletics and Easter Seal.
