January is School Board Recognition Month. We celebrate new Member James Goodman. This higher education IT/contract expert has a student in the district and a soon-to-be kindergartener. He's on the Wellness and Policy Committees, is a Bay Ed Fdn trustee & coaches travel baseball.
On Monday, the Board of Education recognized the BHS girls soccer team for reaching the State Semifinals this fall. The Board also recognized BHS soccer standouts Tessa Knapp (two-time) and Milo Hignett for being named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-American Team.
January is School Board Recognition Month. We celebrate new Member Debbie Callihan. This retired teacher has a BHS alumna and now 3 grandchildren in the district. She is a member of the Curriculum and Finance Committees, the OSBA Student Achievement Liaison and a PTA member.

January is School Board Recognition Month. We celebrate Amy Huntley, Vice President. She has served (for the 2nd time) since 2022. This alumna and CPA has served on the Finance, Buildings/Grounds and Human Capital committees. She is a former PTA officer and mom to 6 BHS grads.
Friendly Reminder: Tonight's Board of Education Meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at Bay Middle School Library (not the Board of Education Office). Several groups will be recognized this evening and this space accommodates a larger group.
