Eleven BVCSD Orchestra Students recently performed in the NOYO (Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra) Summer Camp weekend concert at Oberlin Conservatory. The district is proud of these students and their commitment to advancing their musicianship!

Last weekend was Mini Cheer Camp with more than 80 participants. Campers learned cheers, skills and the fight song. The "minis" are invited to cheer at the Friday, Sept. 19th home BHS Varsity Football game during first quarter.

The BVCSD's Parent Ambassadors Team recently met to discuss future parent seminars and a parent wellness event. The group plans to collab with the PTA on these initiatives. Thank you for your great ideas, and stay tuned for more information!

BVCSD's Community Communications Committee recently met to share ideas and ask questions. This retiree and empty-nester group provides valuable feedback to Supt. Prebles and other administrators. We appreciate their continued interest in and support of the district!

BVCSD invested in significant building and grounds improvements this summer as part of its Strategic Plan. These projects enhance facilities for students, staff and residents. One of these projects is the resurfacing Westerly School's playground.
