Did You Know...Julius Caesar is the Father of Leap Year. He created a 12 month 365 day calendar based off the Egyptians, but it was realized the earth has 365.24 days not 365. Caesar instituted a Leap Year once every 4 years to ensure man-made and solar calendars stayed aligned.

BHS' Jonah Bendoraitis was an exhibitor at the recent Atlanta Brickcon LEGO event. All of his creations are original builds, the centerpiece of which is a mini-figure scale, movie-accurate Hogwarts from Harry Potter that took him a year to complete.

“African Americans and the Arts” is the theme for this year’s Black History Month. Did you know the band The O'Jays formed in Canton while the guys were still in high school? The O'Jays were inducted into the Rock Hall in 2005 by Justin Timberlake.
