Earlier this week, the Bay High School Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) inducted 98 new members. The event marked the 85th annual induction ceremony at BHS. These students represent the principles of character, scholarship, leadership and service. Congratulations!

Bay Middle School students learning French celebrated National French Week by researching a famous French person and then dressing up as that person to give a presentation. They also prepared typical French sweets to sample, and decorated their lockers. Bien joué!

Bay Middle School's 8th grade English classes have been studying Shakespeare's Macbeth. Last week they acted out scenes with actors from Great Lakes Theater's Student Residency Program. Thank you, BMS PTSA for funding this program.

Today is Parade day! At 4 p.m. today, Tues., Nov. 19, BVCSD honors our State Championship Girls Soccer Team with a mini Rocket Parade. The parade starts at 4 p.m. at Bay Middle School and heads west down Wolf Road to Bay High School. All are welcome to attend!

Small group conversations are now taking place to share feedback about tonight's State of the District Board Meeting. Everyone is asked to share their voice about what the district can do to earn a 10.




Members of the Facilities Core Committee speak about the process they have been through for the last several months, including navigating the audit report, touring the buildings, and offering suggestions for building improvements and projects.




Next up at tonight's State of the District Board Meeting is Ass't Supt of Human Resources & Operations Aaron Ereditario. He introduces a presentation on Facilities, including the history and condition of our buildings, and the process of the facilities audit.


Treasurer Meghan Rohde talks about the Finance & Facilities for the Future Plan, which includes the November five-year forecast, property reappraisal and more.
