Before Winter Break, some Westerly students attended Great Lakes Theater's "A Christmas Carol" to support their classmate, Anthony. It was also fun to see last year’s Tiny Tim, Finn, with this year's Tiny Tim, Anthony!



Students in Mrs. Thomas’ 3rd grade class started a business called Candy Cane Kids. They made candy canes and other items, and sold them to raise funds to buy gift cards for teens in conjunction with "With Love, Maggie " for patients at Cleveland Clinic. They collected $310!








BHS cheerleaders Emily & Molly Kralik went to The Ohio Royal Weekend cheer competition in Dayton with their Infinity Cheer & Tumbling team. Team Icon won 1st in their division, 1st in their entire level & won a bid to the national competition in April. Congrats Emily & Molly!


Normandy Kindergarteners Alex, James and Hannah enjoyed a visit with Santa before Winter Break.


Before Winter Break, BHS Key Club went on a holiday lights bus tour with residents of the Knickerbocker. with hot cocoa & cookies after. Key Club also collected 80 toys for the Salvation Army Angel Tree. #BeProudToBeBay




Before Winter Break, it was "Twin Day" with Mrs. Koss and Alana D! 'Tis the season for festive wearables.


Happy Kwanzaa! Kwanzaa is celebrated from December 26 to January 1 every year. It is an African American and pan-African seven-day cultural holiday that celebrates family and community.


To all our friends who are celebrating, Happy Hanukkah! Did you know....For the first time in nearly 20 years, Christmas and the first night of Hanukkah will both fall on the same day this year?


Santa stopped by Normandy to answer some questions, and we found out Santa doesn't like chocolate milk...it's too messy for his white beard! Bay Village Schools wishes you and yours a very Merry Christmas, and we hope you're all on the "nice" list like all Mrs. Hart's class!

Did you know Miss Patti, who drives Bus #16, had a ziplining elf in her bus? It's true! This is way better than Elf on a Shelf! Thank you, Miss Patti, for going the extra mile for our students during the holiday season, and always. Merry Christmas!

Save the Date! Current 8th grade students and families are invited to Bay High School Preview Night on Wed., January 8 at 7 p.m. at BHS Auditorium. This is a great opportunity for the Class of 2029 to learn about course offerings and more.


Happy First Day of Winter! Did you know the Winter Solstice marks the moment when half the Earth is tilted the farthest from the sun? It usually happens Dec 21 or 22. Today we will experience the least amount of daylight for the year. And it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere!
