Some of Señora Hoy’s Spanish students at Normandy participated in the Doce Uvas tradition from Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. In Spain, people gather at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid to watch the clock strike midnight, and to eat grapes with each chime of the bell.
