As we celebrate Valentine's Day today, here are some fun facts...
1. The first valentine was sent in the 15th century.
2. The 1840s saw the first mass-produced valentines.
3. Today we send 145 million valentines annually.

A special Valentine's Day shout-out to Westerly fourth-grader Eliza who made handcrafted Valentines for her Woodburn-Mahall classmates. She drew the original art and turned them into individual stickers for her classmates.




With the help of Bay High Key Club, Westerly K-Kid students made Valentines for senior adults at Life Care Center in Elyria and the Eliza Jennings Center in Cleveland. #BeProudToBeBay
