September 11th, Patriot Day, honors the memory of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims who died in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This day is dedicated to remembering those who died and the first responders who risked their own lives to save others. We will never forget.

Congrats to Westerly student Huck Kurinsky who recently won a national BMX event hosted by the Team USA Olympic Head Coach. Huck won each Regional stop this season in the USA BMX Freestyle National Series and is the points leader heading into the National Finals this October.


During the week of Sept 9-13, Bay students may participate in Start With Hello Week, a week dedicated to making new social connections and creating a sense of belonging among youth. Students may be wearing green one day, mismatched socks another or even Bay colors to show unity.
