Recently, Normandy first-graders in the Glenview aftercare program got to show off their reading skills by visiting Glenview's Toddler Room for storytime and reading to the younger students. This is great for building confident readers and modeling for our younger students!



Today, March 29, is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Since 2017, this day has been dedicated as a time to honor Vietnam vets. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the day the last U.S. combat troops departed from Vietnam. Thank you.


Did you attend Monday night's choral concert? There were nearly 300 students on the stage to perform the closing piece, “Give Us Hope!” including Westery’s 4th Grade Choir, the BMS 5th and 7th/8th grade choirs, and the BHS A Cappella Choir and Choraleers! #BeProudToBeBay


Congrats to Mr. Matt Spellman, receiving the NEOIAAA Athletic Director of the Year award! This award is presented to an association member who exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism; who has made significant contributions to their students, schools and communities.


Earlier this month, Westerly third-graders followed the Iditarod, watching the race live and following mushers with GPS. Some students wrote the mushers and received letters back. Students also read about why the ceremonial race was started and Cleveland's connection to Balto.
