Show off the kiddos' costumes a little early at Chalktoberfest this Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Board of Ed Office. Chalk the lot, buy Rocket spirit wear, read Halloween stories with Supt. Shryock and eat an early dinner with Smokin' Rock N' Roll food truck.
Congratulations to BHS Key Club and Advisor Anita Bauknecht who recently received a Proclamation from the Ohio Senate for their work on Thirst Project, raising funds for clean water wells in Africa. Supt. Shryock read the Proclamation at Monday's Board meeting.
Westerly’s Garden Club provides an opportunity to plan, plant and care for the school's Outside Science Lab. Today, Garden Club, with moderator Mrs. Carney, planted bulbs and prepared soil for seeds. Can't wait to see what pops up this spring!
