BMS Announcements:

Attention 7th and 8th Graders interested in joining Power of the Pen.  We will hold our first official meeting of the school year this Friday immediately after school in Mrs. Goldberg's room.  

The meeting will be about one hour long.  Please bring paper, pencils, and your chromebook.  It is not too late to join.  If you have questions please see Mrs. Goldberg or Mr. Barberic

“Attention all interested 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. 

CHESS CLUB is held right after school on Fridays in Mr. Kevesdy’s room (Room 138) in the 6th grade hallway.  No experience is necessary.  See Mr. K if you have any questions.With a week left to go we have some close races! There is still a lot of time and lots of races at stake.

Attention any girls who may be interested in playing basketball! The Bay Girls Varsity Basketball team is hosting a one-day clinic on Saturday, September 24th to sharpen skills and get to know the JV and Varsity Girls Basketball Teams! The 5th grade ses“sion will run from 1:00-2:30pm, while the 6th-8th grade session will go from 2:30-5:00pm. Registration will occur online via google form, so please stop by the main office or see Mr. Caddey, Mr. Sherwood, or Mr. Fitchpatrick for more details!” -- 

Today, to celebrate Start with Hello Week, we hope you are making BMS green by wearing as much green as possible!  Green is the color that represents Start with Hello Week.  Wearing green shows our commitment to helping everyone feel like they belong here at Bay Middle School.  Think of one thing you can do to help someone else feel connected today!

Tomorrow is FRIENDLY FRIDAY.  For spirit week, we will wear Bay colors tomorrow to 

represent our unity.  We also encourage you to sit with someone new from your grade at lunch!

Sports Report 

 

The 8th grade volleyball team lost a tough 3 set match to Buckey. Last night highlights were 90% serving and Andy Naughtons 8 kills Evin Mason secured the second set win with 7 straight serves. Next match is home tonight vs North Olmsted
