BMS Announcements
“Attention any girls who may be interested in playing basketball! The Bay Girls Varsity Basketball team is hosting a one-day clinic on Saturday, September 24th to sharpen skills and get to know the JV and Varsity Girls Basketball Teams! The 5th grade session will run from 1:00-2:30pm, while the 6th-8th grade session will go from 2:30-5:00pm. Registration will occur online via google form, so please stop by the main office or see Mr. Caddey, Mr. Sherwood, or Mr. Fitchpatrick for more details!” --
Today, to celebrate Start with Hello Week, we hope you are wearing mismatched clothes to support a celebration of diversity. This is a day to celebrate a culture of including everyone, no matter our differences. We are all unique, but together we make up BMS- a special place full of students who accept others for all of our similarities and differences.
Tomorrow is MAKE BAY GREEN day. Green is the color that represents Start with Hello Week. Remember to wear as much green as possible to show you know how important it is to include others.

CHESS CLUB is held right after school on Fridays in Mr. Kevesdy’s room (Room 138) in the 6th grade hallway. No experience is necessary. See Mr. K if you have any questions.With a week left to go we have some close races! There is still a lot of time and lots of races at stake.
The sixth grade has taken the overall lead! However, the fifth grade is only $352 behind in sales. A lot can happen in a week.

Mrs. Kralik’s class is dominating their block. Mr. Sherwood has taken the lead but ms. Mullarkey is only behind by a little bit…who will take the pig?
6th:
Mr. barberic continues to expand his lead and Ms Hill has taken over for her block. Will they maintain their leads?
7th:
Mr. Fitchpatrick has taken over the lead for his block while Ms. Flamos keeps her lead going,
8th
With a welcome to Bay Middle school, Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Caraballo/Ms. Litzler have taken over the leads in the 8th grade. Mr. Kralik is not far behind to take it over for his block. Could we see a pig race showdown between Mr and Mrs Kralik????

Good luck to the girl's soccer team tonight as they take on the Rocky River Pirates! The JV game begins at 5 with the varsity game to follow. Both games are at Bay Memorial Stadium. Hope to see you there. Go Rockets!
