Congratulations to all of our track and field athletes who competed in the Avon Invitational meet on Saturday and our tri-meet against Hillside and Westlake yesterday.

While all athletes did an awesome job, we have a few special individuals to recognize. 8th grader Jayden Perrine broke the school record for long jump with a jump of 19'4", beating the previous record of 18'8" set in 1998. Our boys 4x400m relay team, made up of 8th graders Kieran Ripley, Max Fischer, Jack Downing, and Mikey Taylor also broke the school record by finishing the 4x400 meter relay in a time of 3:59.9 seconds, beating out the previous record of 4 minutes flat, set in 2002. Congratulations to those athletes on such an awesome accomplishment!!

Coach Setta and the varsity girls softball team would like to thank everyone from BMS who came out to support the team on Monday.  The turnout was great, the energy was high and pizza was delicious.

All BMS students are encouraged to keep their eyes on varsity schedules and support all of our spring athletes at Bay High School.  Go Rockets!

Who is excited to buy a lollipop today? They are on sale after school, for only $1 all week. All proceeds will go directly towards the Thirst Project, helping people gain access to running water. Hurry, before we run out!

Attention Golf Fans:

For 8th graders interested in playing high school golf, there will be an informational meeting Friday during lunch.  Coach Manderine will meet you at the cafeteria.

Go Rockets!
