Big shout out to Chamber Choir who had a visit and training from Amber Michalak, Executive Director of MAD Factory. She came in after school yesterday to give a master class to the Chamber Choir kids who are singing in a cabaret next week at the art show. Get excited for both the art show and the chamber choir songs at the show!
Congratulations to all track athletes who competed in yesterday's relay meet at North Olmsted! Special shoutout to Sacha Jones, Blaise Linsenmeyer, Mikey Taylor, Kieran Ripley, Colin McAlea, Will Waters, Jayden Perrine, Charlie Rodgers, Rocco Ereditario, Evan Taulbee, Jackson Smith, Jack Downing, Oliver Marotta, and Braeden Egan for placing 1st in one or more events out of 9 teams! Our boys team placed first in 7 out of 11 events! Another shoutout to Annie Willmitch, Eva Julian, Aley Fetterman, Addison Seredich, Riley Mitchell, and Leila Ghaffari for also taking home a first place finish in their event! Great job to everyone who competed!!
In case you haven’t heard, the 15th annual Bike To School Challenge begins Monday, May 2nd. Monday is also Subway day. In fact, every Monday is Subway day during Bike To School Challenge. VERY IMPORTANT: If you would like a Bike To School Challenge 2022 t-shirt, you must submit your order online by this Sunday. You will not earn a t-shirt for riding four days as in years past. Please check for an email from Mrs. Lapolla about how to order a Bike To School Challenge 2022 t-shirt. Again, t-shirt orders are due by this Sunday. Get those bikes cleaned up, tires inflated, gears and brakes adjusted, and ready to roll this weekend.
Congratulations to the Bay Middle School cheerleading competition team. They took first place in the GameDay division at their competition, where they performed a sideline cheer, band dance, crowd cheer, and fight song dance.
