The Library needs your overdue books!  Lists were given to the teachers, so if you have an overdue book, your homebase teacher will let you know!  Please look for your books and turn them in by next week or we will need to charge you for the book!  Thank you for returning them to the library, and thank you, teachers for your help!  Look for those BOOKS!

Have you heard about the cool club that helps people right here in our community and even people throughout the world? It’s called Builders Club and everyone is invited to join! Our motto is: We don’t build things. We build character. We will be meeting Thursday after school from 3 to 3:30 in the library. Bring a buddy next week and join in on the fun!

Sports Report

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball team who won their first game of the season last night, defeating North Olmsted 31 to 15. The girls sprinted out to a 20 to 9 first half lead and never looked back. The girls played unselfishly on the offensive end & dominated on defense, holding North Olmsted scoreless in the 4th quarter.

Good luck next Tuesday against Westlake!

The 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to North Olmstead yesterday and beat the Eagles 34-7. The Lady Rockets Started a bit slow and led after the first quarter 6-5. After that they outscored the home team 28-4. The ladies got their press rolling and slapped down some tough man to man defense that just wore down the Eagles.

The offense also got rolling in the second half as the ball was moving and the shots started falling. The whole team contributed both offensively and defensively and gave the Bay fans that made the trip plenty to cheer about.

The ladies will be hosting the Westlake Demons next Tuesday at home so come out and watch and watch this team play.

Go Rockets!
