“The 8th-grade Lady Rockets volleyball team started their season last night with a dominating win over the Raiders of Shiloh, winning in 2 sets, 25-14 and 25-2. Lane Pecko, with 5 kills, and Evie Miller, with 3, led the team in the front row. Chloe Costin, Hattie Kirkland, Kaila Kozeniewski, and Caroline Scanlan also contributed in the front row. Lane Pecko led the team at the serving line, serving 13 in a row, 10 of those being aces. Avery Lee followed, serving 9 in a row, with 3 aces. Norah Barnes also had 3 aces, along with multiple assists. Morgan Walsh, Ally Hoerig, Mallory Ropelewski, and Eleanor Alten were all over the court, each picking up at least 1 dig. Great team wins, ladies!”
7th-grade volleyball started the season off with a solid W. Winning in two, 25-10 and 25-9. Layla Balc and Vivian Boyll each with a handful of aces, and Emily Kehoe with two kills. Come support the team this Wednesday at home vs Buckeye!
