Best of luck to our amazing Bay Middle School Power of the Pen competition writers who made it to States! They will be traveling to Ashland University on Monday next week to compete in the prestigious State level.

Did you know that BMS has one of the largest Bike To School Challenge programs in the United States!  Let’s continue to show the community the value of riding our bikes each day. If you rode today, you earned a Mojo’s coupon for a $2 off Mocha Frappe or Frozen Hot Chocolate that can be redeemed tomorrow only.

Today, we've passed the halfway point of the Bike to School Challenge with a daily average of 420 riders. Tomorrow, you might want to set your alarm slightly earlier because it’s going to be a race to BMS to see who can claim the 250 donuts donated by Fragapanes.

Just remember, you can join the Bike To School Challenge at any time during the program. Those striving for perfection …8 days down, 7 to go.

This Friday at 7:00, the BMS Jazz Band will be playing at Barnes and Noble!  Please bring the book fair barcode on the slips you got in your homebase to scan when you purchase books and games in the store.  A part of the proceeds will go back to our library to buy new books! See you Friday night at Barnes and Noble Crocker Park! It will be an evening full of awesome music!

If you are interested in the Greece trip with Mr. Fitchpatrick, remember the meeting is this Wednesday at 6:00 PM in his room. The meeting is about 30 minutes. If you can't make it due to the band concert, please stop by his classroom today or tomorrow. There will be an additional meeting next Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

Attention all track athletes: do not forget to return your uniform to Coach Murawski in room 202 or Coach Yuengling in room 224 by this Friday, May 15th!!

For any 8th-grade girls interested in playing golf for the Rockets this fall, there will be an informational meeting in the main office conference room at 11:15 today. Meet the coach.

8th-grade girls! There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in playing flag football next spring on Thursday, May 14th, in the main office conference room. Come over and see what the program is all about!

Let’s Remember to Respect Our Community with Kindness, Empathy, and Tolerance. Show Your Rocket Pride!
