BMS Announcements:

The 19th annual Bike To School Challenge begins Monday, and everyone can participate, including BMS teachers and staff. You do not need to register for this event; instead, all you need to do is ride your bike to school.

Upon arrival, please be sure to lock your bike in front of the building, stop at the stamp table near the bike racks, and pick up your first ride card. You will also get a bonus stamp on your ride card for any day you wear a helmet. The more stamps on your card, the more chances you have to win one of the many great prizes being given away over the next 3 weeks.

Also, this Monday, an amazing BMX demonstration will take place to kick off the Bike to School Challenge. Olympians, National Champions, and BMS’s very own Huck Kurinsky will be performing jumps and amazing tricks in the parking lot down by the cafeteria. Check out the action when you arrive, get autographs and food, and be on the lookout for plenty of free giveaways, too.

We'll see everyone Monday for a super exciting 1st Day of the Bike to School Challenge.

Zap! Zoom! Pow!

School Lunch Hero Day starts now!

Today, Friday, May 1st, we celebrate School Lunch Hero Day to recognize the

hardworking professionals in our school cafeteria.

Not only do these heroes prepare our meals, but they also adhere to strict

nutrition standards, keep pesky allergies at bay, and offer service with a smile.

Every. Single. Day.

The School Lunch Heroes of Bay Middle School use their superpowers to keep you

nourished, ready to learn, and energized for your favorite after-school activities!

Make sure to share some extra thanks with them today.

Don’t forget to thank your School Lunch Heroes today and express your

appreciation for everything they do for all of us at Bay Middle School.

Did you know that our school art show spotlights artwork made throughout this school year?

Mrs. Fortunato and Mr. Leininger have gathered as many art pieces as they can, from a variety of students, in order to put together our school Art Show.

This year’s show will feature a wide range of art materials, from pen & ink to pastels to collage to paint and clay, just to name a few.

You don’t need to have something in the Art Show to attend. Come with your friends, bring your family. Stop by and get dinner or dessert from our new food truck.
