"There will be no 8th-grade town council today, Tuesday, April 28. See you next week as we'll begin prepping for the end-of-year dance."
"Calling all 8th graders! Do you like arguing or debating issues you feel passionate about? Join the Bay High School Speech and Debate Club, an interest meeting will take place on Friday, May 1st, from 3 to 3:15 in the Bay Middle School Library. Have any questions? There will be a Sources of Strength meeting this Friday, May 1st from 7:45-8:40 in the library. Please bring your Chromebook. Your pass will be given to you this week. Email Mrs. Brownson with any questions.
Sports Report:
Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in The Bulldog Invitational this past weekend. Our girls' team placed 16th out of 18 teams, and our boys' team placed 4th out of 18 teams. Placing in the top 8 and scoring were the following athletes:
Kate Durand- 4th in the 100m dash
Gavin Neumann- 2nd in the 400m dash
Cody Knaack- 3rd in the 100m dash
Case Cikra- 3rd in shot put and 7th in discus
Penton Morris- 4th in pole vault
Logan Adkins- 5th in long jump
Roman Render- 6th in pole vault
Will Kaptur- 7th in 110m hurdles
We would like to give a special shout-out to Logan Adkins for placing 5th and breaking the school record for the 200m hurdles, and Cody Knaack, for placing first, setting a new meet record, and breaking the school record for both shot put and discus. Way to go, everyone! Go Rockets!
