A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our BMS Power of the Pen Regional competition writers who competed earlier this month in Parma at the Regional Tournament. 30 other schools in our region competed, and we are so proud of our Rocket writers!
Out of 30 other area schools, our 7th-grade Regionals writing team won 1st PLACE! Way to go, 7th grade!

Special awards were also given at Regionals for Best of Round stories from Districts. 8th Grader Gigi Joslin won a Best of Round Award from Districts for her Round 2 story, “The Brilliance of Light and Darkness”.
7th Grader London Goodpaster accepted two awards: one Best of Round Award from Districts for her Round 2 story called "The Thief" and a highly prestigious Director's Choice Award for her Round 3 story, "The Lake of the Free". Well done, ladies!
