The 8th-grade Bruesewitz block really celebrated right to read week last week by dressing in theme. While the 8th graders celebrate reading every day, here are the winners:
On Monday, 50 kids participated, and our word-wearing winner is Aden Davis.
Tuesday, we had a whopping 6-7 kids participate, and our winner is #41, Reagan Miller.
Our Wednesday winner is Colton Catanzerite.
Our Thursday winner is Noah Treadway.
Our Friday winner is Josh Plautz.

After over 100 votes, we can now announce our Elite 8 for our BMS Character March Madness. Here are our Elite 8! The Bravest friend went to Jordan Banks from the graphic novel, New Kid, by Jerry Craft. He will be going up against our Loyal Leader winner, Jack Sullivan from Last Kids on Earth. Next, we have our funniest jokester, Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, versus the righteously resilient winner, Hermione Granger. The next bracket will be the most villainous villain, Lord Voldemort, going up against the most ingenious and resourceful character winner, Spy School's Ben Ripley. Our fourth and last matchup goes to our winner of the most bossy character, Kristy, from the Babysitters Club series, going head to head with the winner of the strongest in their sport category, the very fast runner, Castle Crenshaw, or Ghost as we know him.
