Congratulations to the 7th-grade girls' basketball team as they put on a masterclass in full-court pressure and offensive scoring last night in their 43-9 win over Buckeye.
Their tenacious and suffocating defense was the highlight of the game, consistently rattling their opponents from baseline to baseline. The full-court press was incredibly effective, leading to numerous turnovers and easy lay-up opportunities.
On the offensive end, Avery and Heidi combined for 23 points, while Morgan chipped in 6 points, Claire and Reese with 4 each, and Ally, Emma, and Evie each made a jump shot.
Come out and support the 7th and 8th-grade girls basketball teams as they go up against Rocky River at home next Tuesday.
