Sports Report:
The Bay Rockets 7th-grade girls basketball team continued their winning ways yesterday, defeating Greenbrier by a final score of 33-8. The defense was the story of the night, holding Greenbrier to a single-digit total for the entire contest. The team's relentless pressure and smart rotations resulted in numerous turnovers, fueling the Rockets' fast-break attack. On the offensive end, the Rockets demonstrated great team chemistry and ball movement. Multiple players contributed to the score sheet, highlighting an unselfish approach that created open looks throughout the game.
Scoring for the Lady Rockets was Avery with 13 points, Heidi (6), Claire and Reese with 4 points each, and Mallory. Morgan and Ava each chipping in a basket. On the defensive end, Emma, Evie, and Aubrianna played great team defense, helping to limit Greenbrier to just three baskets all game.
