BMS Announcements:

"Seventh Gr. Town Council would like to congratulate Amelia Venditti and Noah Preston for their win for secretary! 7th-grade town council members, our meeting will be on Thursday (10/2) during lunch. Thanks so much!"


The first yearbook club meeting will be this coming Thursday Oct. 2nd after school until 3:30 in Mrs. Abdul's room.  Yearbook club is open to any 6th, 7th or 8th grader who is interested in creating the 2025-26 BMS yearbook.  See Mrs. Abdul with any questions. 



Sources of Strength members will have their first meeting this Friday, Oct. 3rd, from 7:50 to 8:30. All members have been invited to join the Sources of Strength Google Classroom. Please accept and fill out the Google Forms stating you are interested in attending.



Sports Report:

The boys and girls cross country teams competed at Vermilion on Saturday.

The boys varsity team took 2nd place overall.  Scoring:

The 7th-grade girls' volleyball team improved to 12-2 last night with a win against the Bucks of Buckeye. The sets' scores were 25-6 and 25-7. Caroline Scanlan led the team at the service line with 7 aces, followed by Ally Hoerig with 5, Morgan Walsh with 3, Kaila Kozeniewski and Avery Lee with 2, and Evie Miller and Mallory Ropelewski with 1. Way to go, Rockets!!

The 8th-grade girls volleyball team ended the regular season with a win last night against the Bucks of Buckeye. Lanie Fischer led the team at the service line with 3 aces, followed by Maeve McManamon and Morgan Parris with 2 each! Morgan Parris also contributed in the front row with 3 kills, followed by Blaire Glass, Grace Kehoe, and Reagan Miller with 2 kills apiece. Morgan Parris led our defense with 9 kills. Kinsley Liller followed with 6, Lanie Fischer with 5, and Amelia Vasil with 4. The girls will play at North Olmsted this weekend for the end-of-season tournament! Go Rockets!
