BMS Announcements:

Two weeks down, and one left to go before thousands of dollars in prizes are given away at next Friday’s Bike to School Assembly. Please remember to turn in all your completed ride cards with your name on the back to the student box located in the Main entrance of the Middle School, for all teachers either riding or helping out with the Bike to School Challenge, your ride card box is located in the teachers' mailroom.

As we always say….The more you ride, the more chances you'll have to win.  How many cards can you complete before next Friday? Can we top our record of 427 riders in one day? Will anyone be able to complete the 15-day journey with the gold card? Who will win the ultimate grand prize at the assembly? All these questions will be answered next week as we gear up for the exciting finish to the 2025 Bike to School Challenge.

Finally, it is Barnes and Noble night....tonight!  Please join us in listening to our amazing Chamber Choir and Jazz Band.  The BMS Chamber Choir performs at 6:00, and our BMS Jazz Band performs at 7:00.  Both groups will be set up on the second floor.  This special evening is our Barnes & Noble book fair.  Our library will get a percentage of the proceeds from purchases made today and tonight in the store. We can then buy new books for our library here at the middle school. So please come support our Jazz Band, Chamber Choir, and our middle school library tonight at Barnes & Noble!  See you there!

Sports Report

Congratulations to the softball team on their 14 - 2 win over Lakewood on Tuesday.  Leading the way for the Rockets was pitcher Lucy Corbett.  Lucy the Lefty struck out 9 batters over 5 innings.  The offense was also spectacular as several Rockets, including Marina Sneed, Ariah Baum, and Dani Goggins, all had big hits.

A special thank you to the Lakewood team and coaches for being great hosts.

Go Rockets.

Let’s remember to RESPECT OUR COMMUNITY with KINDNESS, EMPATHY, and TOLERANCE.

Show your ROCKET PRIDE !!!
