BMS Announcements:

After an amazing first week of riding, which saw BMS average a record 397 riders, Week 2 has now officially kicked off. Congratulations to any student who rode their bike to school today and earned the final Subway coupon for a free 6-inch sandwich. Remember, it can be redeemed anytime this entire week. So grab your friends and head over after school and “Eat Fresh”

Just another reminder…Any coupon being redeemed at any of our local stores, please be respectful, show kindness, and give a BIG THANK YOU for their willingness to help us out with our Bike to School Challenge. Without the support of the community, this event would not be possible. Six days down, nine to go in the 2025 Bike to School Challenge.

"Prayer Group meets today in Mrs. Guinter's room. Just a reminder that today is our last prayer group of the year. "

Congratulations to all the Bay Middle School 7th and 8th Grade music students who

performed in the Ohio Music Education Association, District 4 Large Group Adjudicated

Event in Avon Lake this past Friday and Saturday. All four groups that performed had

fantastic performances! Both the 7th Grade Band and the 8th Grade Band, as well as the 7th and

8 th Grade Choir earned “Superior” Ratings, and the 7th and 8th Grade Orchestras earned an

“Excellent” Rating. Congratulations to all the students in the groups, you truly represented

Bay in a positive manner! Amazing work!

Attention to all current 6th and 7th graders interested in trying out for volleyball next year: There will be an informational meeting tomorrow, May 13, right after school in Coach Murawski's room (room 202). Important information will be discussed, including the summer schedule and tryout dates. If you're not able to attend the meeting, please stop by Coach Murawski's room to pick up the forms that were passed out.

This Friday, May 16th, we have three things coming together for one spectacular night.....Band, Choir, and Books!  Please come and support BMS Library, Jazz Band, and our Chamber Choir at the Barnes & Noble Bookfair!  Performances will be upstairs at Barnes & Noble at 6:00 pm for the chamber choir and 7:00 pm for the Jazz Band.  ALL purchases in the store that day and evening will benefit new books we can purchase for our own middle school library.  We will have bar codes available to scan at the store and codes for online purchases at BN.com/bookfairs in our library.  Thank you so much!
