BMS Announcements
Last night, the 7th-grade volleyball team had quite a match against Hillside. Although they won in two sets, the scores were VERY lopsided! Either way, it's another W for the girls with the scores of 25-21, and 25-0!!
In game one, Anna Spellman served for 3 points with 2 aces, Rachel Kraft served for 2 points (both aces), Sawyer Kerns served 2 points (both aces) and Sydney Veselic served for 4 points, all of which were aces. On the spiking front, Audrey Weingart had 3 kills, and Anna Spellman, Riley Somerville, and Rachel Kraft each added 1 kill.
Coach Crumbacher stated, "In all my years of coaching, I have never witnessed this before...EVER, and I have been coaching A LONG TIME!" Claire Filiatraut served an ENTIRE SET! This is impressive at any level. Not only did she serve every point, 16 of those serves were ACES! Way to go, Claire!! Congratulations, and a special shout-out for doing something amazing!!
The Lady Rockets will travel to Westlake on Monday for their last regular season game! Let's beat Westlake this second time around! Way to go Bay!!
The 8th-grade girls volleyball team won in 2 against the Tigers of Hillside yesterday, 25-19 and 25-10. Payton Masterson, Lucy Tenerowicz, Sloane Kerber, Stella Turall, Ruby Render,
and Reese Stanley all contributed to the win with multiple kills, Ruby with a team-high of 3. Molly Rettig, Ruby Render, Payton Masterson, Lucy Tenerowicz, Camille Costin, and Reese Stanley all had multiple aces, Payton with a team-high of 7. And an extra special shout-out to Lucy Tenerowicz for stepping up last night and leading the team to victory! Go rockets!!
