Attention Golf Fans: FREE GOLF...FREE GOLF! For eighth graders interested in playing high school golf, there will be an informational meeting Thursday, February 23rd during lunch. Coach Manderine will discuss the expectations and try-out process for the high school golf team. Go Rockets!
Attention Power of the Pen,
We will meet this Friday after school in Mrs. Goldberg's room. This will be a writing meeting. In the words of Mr. Sherwood...."Be courageous and try to write something that scares you a little." See you Friday!

Sports Report
Congrats to the 7th-grade girls basketball team who improved their winning streak to 3 in a row by defeating Shiloh 44 to 11. The Lady Rockets once again sprinted out to a 10-5 1st quarter lead. They outscored Shiloh 14-0 in the 2nd quarter to take a commanding 24-5 lead at halftime and never looked back. The team played great team defense and shared the ball on offense to secure the victory. Congrats to the girls. Let’s play music loud at practice today.
The 8th-grade girls basketball team put on another defensive clinic for the home crowd yesterday and beat Shiloh 43-3. The Lady Rockets also were cooking on the offensive end as they led at the half by 21. The team once again passed the ball well and got everyone involved in the offense. The foul shots were falling and layups and outside shots were going in. Solid win ladies!
The team has two more home games next week and one away game left in the regular season. After that, it will be March Madness time! Go Rockets!
