Athletics & Activities Director Matt Spellman is congratulated by BHS Principal Jason Martin after receiving the Athletic Director of the Year award from the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA). Spellman was honored at a conference in Columbus.


Congrats to the BHS Model UN Team with 41 students attending the CWRU conference last week, and to Delaney Carter for winning the "Gavel Award" in the General Assembly. This is the top award a delegate can earn. #BeProudToBeBay

Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on 11-11-19, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. In 1926, it became an annual observance, and it became a national holiday in 1938. Thank you to our staff, alumni, parents, and community members who have served our country.

In honor of Veterans Day, Westerly creates an Honor Wall in the main hallway called "Our 'STARS’ in the Fight for Freedom.” Each student receives a "STAR" that can be filled out by their family and turned in to be displayed so their Veteran can be recognized.
