Today is National School Librarian Day. BVCSD is grateful for all its school librarians today and every day!

Reminder: On a road with fewer than four lanes, all traffic approaching a stopped school bus from either direction must stop at least 10 feet from the front or rear of the bus and remain stopped until the bus begins to move or the driver signals motorists to proceed.

We wish these teams good luck as they head to the Ohio Destination Imagination State Tournament this weekend: 4th Grade Engineering Team “Smart Gang Cookies” and 7th Grade Fine Arts Team “The Team Who Must Not Be Named."

Some St. Patrick's Day factoids for you this morning...
1. St. Patrick was born in Britain.
2. The first St. Pat's Parade was held in America.
3. The shamrock, a 3-leaf clover, was considered a sacred plant that symbolized the arrival of spring.
