Today we honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.


The Bay Village Education Foundation presented 3 grants worth nearly $3,000 to 3 teachers within BVCSD. Congrats to Ron Rutt, Technology Teacher at Bay High; Jennifer Carney, Grade 3 Teacher/Garden Club Advisor at Westerly; and Colin Lackey, Intervention Teacher at Bay Middle.


Your Westerly Wolves perform "December Sounds Around the World" TODAY and TOMORROW, Dec. 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. at Bay High Auditorium. This is a free concert and all are welcome. (The same show occurs both nights; the classes are split up into two groups.)

Bay Middle School and Bay High School Orchestras perform their Holiday Concerts on Tuesday, December 13 at Bay High Auditorium.
The Middle School Orchestra performs at 6:30 pm and the High School Orchestra at 8 pm. Both are free and open to the public.

For 20+ years, Westerly students in Mrs. Woodburn & Mrs. Mahall’s class have made fleece blankets for families in need. This project is funded by the Kiwanis Club of Bay Village, and parent volunteers and BHS elementary aides joined in the intergenerational service project.

Bay High Key Club has been super busy lately with Socks of Love, a food drive, Christmas tree sales and raking leaves. They work with K-Kids and Kiwanis on these multigenerational service projects. Thank you for your servant leadership. #BeProudToBeBay

BHS students in Mr. Schemrich's applied arts & sculpture classes donated handmade bowls to the Empty Bowls fundraiser to supports local food banks. They created 38 bowls. Each bowl equates to 140 meals, so 5,320 meals can be provided to those in need.
