Did You Know...One of our Orchestra Seniors, Addison Meaux, arranged music from "How to Train Your Dragon" for Chamber Orchestra to premiere at its recent concert. Addison had previously arranged small ensemble arrangements, but this was a year-long, large-scale undertaking!

BHS football players recently read with 2nd graders in Mrs. Hart's & Mrs. Rinehart's classes as part of the 2nd & 7 program, which has donated nearly 1M books to children in need. It engages student-athlete volunteers to inspire the next generation of readers and leaders.

Peace Officers Memorial Day is celebrated on May 15th every year to honor American law enforcement officers injured or killed in the line of duty. This day falls during National Police Week.


BVCSD invites the community to provide feedback for new curricular materials being considered for core English Language Arts courses at BMS (grades 6-8) & BHS (grades 9-12). Materials available to review at Board Office, 377 Dover Ctr. Rd., May 1-26 from 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday.


To accommodate student performance recognitions, the location of the Bay Village Board of Education’s May 15 meeting will move to Bay Middle School, 27725 Wolf Rd. Both meetings start at 6:30pm.
