The Mural Project at BHS, part of Ohio Arts Council's TeachArtsOhio residency program with Miss Amanda DiLisi, is complete. The four independent murals focus on PACK: Punctuality, Accountability, Community & Kindness. Thank you to all the students who worked on this installation.

Peace Officers Memorial Day is celebrated on May 15th every year to honor American law enforcement officers injured or killed in the line of duty. This day falls during National Police Week.

BVCSD has again been honored for its exemplary music program, receiving the “Best Community for Music Education” award for 2025. First recognized with the distinction in 2003 and each year since, the district is among only 53 Ohio school districts identified for this honor by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.

On May 8, our talented Normandy 1st graders performed Rockin’ Through the Decades—an energetic & joyful musical journey from the birth of rock & roll to today’s viral hits of the 2000s+. The concert celebrated the iconic sounds, styles & dance moves that define each generation.
