Congrats to BHS rising Senior Joe Beauchesne, selected for Boys Nation, an annual American Legion program for outstanding high school students. Students act as senators and participate in mock legislative sessions during the week-long immersion.

Did you know that BVCSD has a communications intern? It's true, and she's a Bay High School student! Meet rising Senior Reese Roche, who was recognized at tonight's Board of Education Meeting. Great work this year, Reese!


At tonight's Board of Education Meeting, spring athletes and activities were honored, including Dazzle Award Winner Logan Cerrito and the BMS Power of the Pen State Team.



Before summer break, some Kindergarten students visited the Greater Cleveland Aquarium.

Are you ready for Bay Days 2025?!


BHS students Tubtim Wintachai & Lucas Harrod recently attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Camp, sponsored by Rotary Club of Westlake/Bay Village. This year, BHS and RYLA alumna Mary Catherine Murtaugh, left, was a counselor at the leadership program for rising senior high school students.


Before summer break, fifth-graders learning Spanish made Guatemalan "worry dolls" in class. The tradition is for students to tell their worries to the doll, and put them under their pillow at night.


Before school ended, 8th Grade Drawing students created their own flower character, based on the artwork of Japanese Pop Artist, Takashi Murakami, who currently has a special exhibit at Cleveland Museum of Art.





Glenview Center's third-grade after care program enjoyed a late May walk to Dairy Queen to enjoy a sweet treat and celebrate their B.A.Y. Awards, where students earn stars in the categories of: Be Respectful, Act Safely, and You and I can accept responsibility and one another.
