Kindergarteners in Mrs. Jennings' art classes were inspired by Eric Carle’s "Have you seen my cat ?" and Mark Reibstein’s "Wabi Sabi."





Last night, Normandy Elementary School kicked off the district's holiday concert series in a grand way! Congratulations to all our singing Bees and to Dr. Kotora for a wonderful event!

One more before we put a fork in Thanksgiving 2021...Mrs. Hart's 2nd graders read the story "Turkey Trouble," and then disguised their turkeys and wrote about those disguises. They were very creative!

Congratulations to BHS Model UN Club, moderated by Ashley Nelson, for a terrific showing at Mock Conference! Students debated rights of migrant workers; passed three resolutions; and received Best Delegate, Power Delegate and Gavel awards.

Before Thanksgiving, Normandy's Library Team had students cover every inch of a pumpkin with "Thankful Words." Then they put the pumpkin outside so our woodland creatures could be thankful, too!


The holiday Spirit Wear pop up shop is now open! Items will be ready by December 17. There are new items in sizes youth through 3-4X. The pop up closes after Thanksgiving weekend. Some items are also available for purchase at BHS. http://bayrocketsholiday2021.orderpromos.com/


Students in Mrs. Dunstan's first-grade class worked on a STEM project, engineering "hideouts" for their team turkeys. They wanted to make sure their turkey stayed safe during Thanksgiving Break!



Kicking off Thanksgiving Week with first-graders Mikey Lovett & Audrey Winton in Mrs. Winton's physical education class. They're practicing their throwing using opposition correctly, while saying what they are thankful for this holiday season.
