BVCSD students & staff represented the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony (CYWS) during a concert tour to the UK. They visited Edinburgh, York, Cambridge & London and played with the Band of HM Royal Marines Scotland, Harrogate band, University of York Brass Band & Regent Brass!


Mrs. Deb in Toddler Room 106 at Glenview shared this photo of a student from Ms. Linda's aftercare class reading to the Little Rockets. Ms. Linda sends a friend to read to the toddlers twice a week, and the books read match that week's theme. #BeProudToBeBay

Did You Know...?! Before their BHS graduation, Rachel Ploenzke (violin) & Miya DeBolt (flute) gave the world premiere of “Bay Village Barn Dance,” a piece written for them by Composer Matthew Saunders as part of the Cleveland Composers Guild Creativity Concert project.

Before summer break, third-graders had a field trip on the Goodtime III, learning about Cleveland History, which is part of their Social Studies curriculum. These photos are from Mrs. Thomas' class.





Mrs. Hack's first-graders had a Book Tasting this spring in conjunction with Read Across America. The children read a book, did a mini book report and shared their books and work with their classmates at a "book tasting." #BeProudToBeBay






Did You Know...?! Bay High Basketball player Ruthie Bisson broke the single game rebounding record with 31 rebounds during the Jan 4, 2023 game vs. North Olmsted. #BeProudToBeBay


Mrs. Jackson's second-graders had a Donut Read-In day before summer break. They earned sprinkles on a donut craft for every 10 pages they read. They also read in beach towel forts with flashlights and enjoyed a donut treat! Sweet!
